Safeguarding

Policy of the Dominican Friars
We in the Irish Dominican Province recognise and uphold the dignity, integrity, and rights of all children. Children and young people, their well-being and welfare, is of paramount importance. We value and encourage the participation of children in all provincial, priory, and parish activities that promote their spiritual, physical and social development. We undertake to do all in our power to create a safe environment where children and young people are protected and cherished. We will endeavour to ensure that adults who work with children and young people follow the best practice guidelines.
